How It Started
The name NXTBEAT (short for “Next Beat”) came to our founder Zodiac in the studio, where artists often say “next beat” to their producer or engineer signaling them to play something new. It reflected the natural way artists search for beats. Zodiac developed a prototype of the app and showed it to his friends who as producers were frustrated with using YouTube and Beatstars to sell their beats. After receiving good feedback, he decided to take the app seriously and start a waitlist.
Goals of NXTBEAT
NXTBEAT helps producers showcase their sound, build industry connections, and sell tracks. For artists, it’s a place to discover new beats, connect with producers, and more to come.
We have a lot more features and plans we will reveal soon. This platform is not just "Tinder for beats". Musicians who adopt it early will soon be pleasantly surprised ;)
